Reminder: Tomorrow is the last day of school. If your child has an IPP, please return them tomorrow.  Homework: Read for 20 minutes. 

Homework: Read for 20 minutes every night. Reminder: The last day of school is on Tuesday. The last Pillars of Care Assembly is also on this day.

Reminder: IPP's were sent home today. If your child has an IPP, please sign and return the forms as soon as possible. Homework: Read for 20 minutes. Daily Learning: Basic facts Monday continued for the second last time. We also finished an empathy lesson we had started last week. In science, we looked at weather and we continue to practice our self portraits in art. On the computers the students completed a survey and also worked on a program called scratch.

Homework: Read for 20 minutes. Daily Learning: Today we did the Junior Achiever Program. The program taught the students about business and the challenges they face. 

Reminder: Friday is Sports Day Homework: Read for 20 minutes. Daily Learning: Today the students got to pick new seats. They chose their spot themselves and so are very excited. We continued to make our zoos in math. Ask your child for more information about this exciting area and perimeter project. The daily 5 continued as usual. We are getting very close to the end of our class novel, The Firekeeper. We practiced our math skills on Mathletics and will continue to do this weekly. We will be starting a new project in social studies tomorrow on the Canadian identity.
