Homework: Read for 20 minutes.  Daily Learning: The Daily 5 continued with our independent and shared reading, read aloud, practice writing, and word work. We are now on week 14 of our spelling words. The focus is on getting the students to understand the words and how to use them. In social studies, we continue to look at Canadian history and how the past has shaped our present and future. In math, we compared decimals and will be moving into how decimals are related to fractions. We will continue with electricity tomorrow and will begin to use the electricity kits to make circuits next week. jaberry@cbe.ab.ca
